Time again for Houston's Art Car Weekend!

This year's festivities begin on Wednesday, May 11 with the traditional Welcome to Houston Out of Towner Party from
8 pm - 12 am at The Last Concert Cafe.

On Thursday May 12, celebrate with the best party in town, the Art car Ball. This year's Ball is organized solely by The Houston Art Car Klub (HACK!) and local art car artists. Purchase tickets in advance through PayPal for $16. Check the official Art Car Ball website for complete details.

Friday brings our favorite event, The Main Street Drag, where art cars travel to schools and hospitals to bring the parade to kids who can't make it on Saturday.

This year, Friday evening's usual Art Car Symposium is being replaced by an Art Car Scavenger Hunt. Check The Orange Show website for more information.

Finally, on Saturday May 14, the best Art Car Parade ever will roll through downtown at 1 pm. Come early and check out the cars as they line up along Allen Parkway. And, in case you can't make it, check out the parade broadcast on Channel 2 on Sunday.
